Here is you groupings for Current Events and Unit I. You will study together, solve problems together and share your thoughts and insights with each other. The name of the game is when one succeeds, all succeed.
You will have a current event to report on from your part of the world. This part will change from time to time. For current events you will stay together for the entire semester.
You must do the following:
  • Create a talk show type presentation, i.e. Firing Line on the news issue you are covering. Each member will be an expert and one will be a host.
  • This is really like a Q and A, but more informative and more interesting I hope. Time frame is brief, i.e. 10 minutes
  • Host introduces the topic. Uses a couple of visuals and then turns to his/her guest experts for commentary or debate.
